Matchwise blends large-language-model reasoning with classical statistics to produce exact-score football predictions and horse-racing analysis — all in a single, fast dashboard on web and iOS.
The Challenge
Sports prediction is noisy. A pure-AI guess is unreliable; pure statistics misses context. The goal was a system that combines both — grounded numbers plus reasoning — and presents it clearly enough for a non-analyst to act on.
What We Built
A prediction engine pairing Gemini-driven analysis with Dixon-Coles Poisson modelling, a separate horse-racing module built on historical data, and a real-time dashboard — across web and a native iOS app.
